| Content: | Page is entitled 'Saturday, March 12, 1870, Number V - Wytham and Wolvercot' (sic). Reports the Society's visit to Wytham. They visited the field in which British remains had been found and which were being excavated by Professor George Rolleston. The report mentions that Rolleston gave a talk to those assembled at the pits, discussing the position of the skeletons in graves on the site, the objects found with them and the area of habitation which was found a short distance from them. The report also records remarks made by Mr James Parker on the subject. | ||||
