Title: Manuscript extract from publication: 'Wharton's Kiddington, Third edition, p.67, note - First editions, 1782.'
Content: Concerning the discovery of a Roman pavement by workmen digging below Challow Hill near the new lodge in Ditchley in 1722. Likens it to the one found at Stunsfield in 1711 and claims that the fragments are supposed to still be under the clump. Notes from Mr Percy Manning below: 'I cannot say where this is'. An extract from the Journal of the Ethnological Society, New Series, Volume I, p.4 has been crossed out in the bottom half of the page.
