Ferry Hinksey Item No.: 2 No. of Sheets: 1
Title: Printed extract adhered to lined backing paper. Surrounding notes.
Content: The extract appears to have been cut from a Pitt Rivers Museum Annual Report for 1906. It is headed 'Accessions By Purchase' and has been cut into three strips (the relevant parts of the report?). Most of the purchases have been crossed out, with the exception of the following items: Neolithic scraper, hollow scraper, 4 rough implements and arrow head of flint from Ferry Hinksey; 3 pigmy flint implements and two arrow heads from Boars Hill, Oxford; Arrow head from Frilford; Trimmed flake from Iffley; Borer from Kennington. The notes around the extract give a heading for the page: 'Ferry Hinksey, Oxford', and refer to the Pitt Rivers Museum, 1906.
