Title: Extract cut from newspaper: 'The Morning Post, 15 October 1918, 'In the Sale Room', and adhered to lined note paper with a note above it.
Content: Note on a gold stater inscribed BODVOC found near Thame by Mr E.K. Burstal sold at auction at Sotheby's (apparently twice, oce in 1912 and again in 1914). The newspaper extract gives details of the items sold at auction houses on the 14 October 1918. The items from Thame (gold coins and the stater) are underlined by Mr E.T. Leeds. The notes above the extract give the catalogue references for the items.
