Content: Mentions the excavations at the Anglo-Saxon cemetery in Wheatley for the Ashmolean Museum and some of the items found there - including human skeletons, a silver pin and a gilt bronze fibula. Notes which numbered objects came from which graves. Also mentions that the skeletons were disturbed by the farmer's (Mr Henry Gale) workmen.
