Content: Entry for an understone an portion of an upper stone of a Roman or Saxon quern or hand-mill. Found in digging in St John's Road in 1871. Also a reference to accession number 1872.2429 and P.H. Index numbers 12 and 24. The transcript is written on a separate strip of paper adhered to lined backing paper.
