Content: Page is headed 'Long Wittenham, Berks'. The extract is written on a seperate strip of paper adhered to the sheet. Entry for a cylindrical, pierced, partially burnt clay object found surrounded with ashes and animal bones in a field at Long Wittenham. Gives dimensions and mentions that the item was given to the British Museum by the trustees of Mr Henry Christy. The black and white photograph below the extract is of the clay object itself.
