Title: Note by Mr Percy Manning including information from publication: 'Proceedings of the Society of Antiquaries, First Series, Volume IV, pp.217 - 219.'
Content: Discusses the excavations made of circles 5 and 6 at Standlake by Mr S. Stone in April 1858. Lists objects found (inlcuding human bones and pottery urns) and describes the circular ditches. Also refers to Archaeologia Volume XXXVII, pp.363 - 370. Fourth page is a plan of the site based on Mr Stone's account, pinpointing discoveries and showing the outlines of the circles. Notes crossed out on the reverse of the second page and a faint pencil plan of the excavations drawn on the reverse of the third page.
