Title: Manuscript extracts from publication: 'The Natural History of Oxfordshire' Robert Plot ed. 1705, Plate XVI, Figrue 4 and Ibid. p.353 and 354.'
Content: The note explains that the plate shows a plain bronze armilla linked to a small iron ring which in turn is linked to another small ring of green glass or stone. The items were dredged from the River Cherwell near Hampton Gay and given to Plot by Mr Barry. Below these extracts is a drawing of the objects on tracing paper, possibly traced from the publication.
