Content: Appendix I is concerning communications of the Society with the Government over the preservation of ancient monuments in Great Britain. Appendix II mentions Mr J.P.Earwaker's address to to society on the subject of preserving the Roman villa at North Leigh. Included is a printed copy of the letter sent by Mr Earwaker to the Oxford Journal newspaper raising awareness of the issue. The letter was published in several London papers and the society succeeded in alerting the attention of the Duke of Marlborough to the situation, who then promised to preserve the villa. Mention is made of part of the tessellated pavement found at North Leigh villa being preserved at the Ashmolean Museum.
