Content: Entry for a drinking vessel found while digging foundations of new houses in Polstead Road, presented to the museum by Mr J. Whiting of Hythe Bridge Street. Below the transcripts is adhered a photograph of the vessel. There are pencil notes to the right of it and below it referring to similar vessels. A note at the foot of the page mentions that the vessel has been illustrated in the Proceedings of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, Volume XXXVIII, p.381, figure 51, by Mr J. Abercromby.
