Title: Manuscript extract from 'Rolleston MS University Museum Department of Comparative Anatomy'.
Content: Extract entitled 'Abingdon Union Workhouse, December 21, 1870'. Recounts how Rolleston went out to Abingdon Union Workhouse, having heard that skeletons had been found there. He found four, two in situ and two laid out in a shed having been excavated. Describes the orientation of the graves, gives the gender of the skeletons. Orders had been given to rebury them in the churchyard.
