Content: List of places in the vicinity of Merton and along the Roman road from Alchester to Dorchester where Roman coins have been found (Langford; Astley Bridge; Goldspender field; Bushey Mead; Ambrosden; Muswell Hill). Also details what type of coins were found where and refers to the works of Professor Hussey and of Mr Blomfield (Second brasses of Commodus and Julia Sabrina from the Manor House, Merton; Small brass of Constantine and two undecipherable from 'Goldspender field' in Merton parish; A second brass of Constantine, silver denarii of Vespasian and Hadrian and small brasses of Crispus and Valens in Bushey Mead field; A small brass, indecipherable, from Mill Ground field; A second brass of Augustus from 'Second Lawn' field).
