| Content: | Page entitled 'Wytham, p.941'. Notes concerning a hole found four feet below the surface of the earth containing three dog's skeletons found lying as if they had been thrown in a heap, black earth, charcoal and pie-marked stones. Also found in the pit were split and broken animal bones (types listed), various types of pottery, a mass of woody fibres and oxidised iron and half of a spindle-whorl. Notes on the reverse of the page crossed out. | ||||
