Title: Black and white photograph attached to unlined note paper. A note and drawing by Mr Percy Manning
Content: Photograph of a bronze finger ring from Middle hill, Wood Eaton, in the Gordon Collection in the Ashmolean Museum. Note below on provenance and description. Also mentions that a similar ring, in the Morel Collection in the British Museum, was found with a La Tene fibula in the Somme Bionne cemetery. There is a drawing of this object. A further ring similar to the one from Wood Eaton was found on Hod Hill (publication reference: 'Catalogue of Finger Rings, Pl.XXXIII, number 1420.') and another from Wittering Northhamptonshire.
