Title: Note by Mr Percy Manning based on information from Mr John Slade of Brize Norton
Content: Concerning the discovery of several human skeletons in a field on the road from Minster Lovel to Brize Norton. Swords and armour found with them. Some of them wore helmets. One skeleton lay on a large earthen bowl. Also mentions that in 1881 a labourer found another skeleton lying on its back with an iron knife beneath it by the side of Abingdon lane. All thought to be Anglo Saxon
